Chinese Startup Rokid T1 Thermal Smart Glasses for detecting COVID-19
Chinese startup company Rokid created glasses with an infrared sensor that is reported to be able to measure temperatures up to 200 people from 9 feet/3 meters distance. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm processor, a 12MP camera and offers AR functions. The glasses can be controlled using voice commands, as well as record live photos and videos.
The T1 Thermal Smart Glasses to connect via USB and can be synchronized with other platforms easily. This device does not collect information directly from T1 glasses. Rokid plans to offer this device for American businesses, hospitals, and law enforcement officials for COVID-19 detection.
